This double decker city bus had an engine fire that rendered it unusable. The bus was initially towed back to the contractor’s yard. Big Rig Collision in Calgary was contracted to do the repair work and they hired us to bring it back. The rear tires were burned off and the air system was completely distroyed so the bus had to be flat towed from Sherwood Park to Calgary. The journey was made even longer as bridge heights in Edmonton made the cross city drive a nine hour adventure.

No matter what your hauling when it’s over it’s over. This rig hauling feed took a turn just a bit to fast and ended up on it’s side.
The crew at Big Rig Towing did double shift to clear the feed from the trailer so they could get it back on its feet.

It’s a well-known fact that grain dust can explode. That’s why you have to be extremely careful when transporting and transferring any grain from one place to another.
This truck was loaded with grain when it went off the road and got stuck. Its contents had to be transferred to another truck before it could be towed out of the ditch.
You can see by the cloud of grain dust that Big Rig Towing had to be very careful with this tow and recovery.
