Don’t Get Stranded

Being stranded on the side of the road can be extremely dangerous.

In the event of a breakdown, the stress can be overwhelming, especially on busy highways or in the dark of night. It’s crucial to seek safety by moving to an emergency lane or the hard shoulder. However, even these areas can be hazardous due to fast-moving traffic.

If you find yourself stranded, prioritize safety by pulling over as far to the right as possible. Staying inside your vehicle offers protection from potential collisions. In any breakdown scenario, vigilance is key. Remain in your vehicle and promptly call for towing assistance.

At Big Rig Towing, our team is highly skilled in traffic safety and recovery, ensuring the well-being of both our staff and customers during breakdown situations. We respond quickly to your location, providing towing and recovery services regardless of the weather or time of day.

For prompt assistance, call us toll-free at 1 (866) 398-7444. Stay safe and stay informed.

Big Rig Towing Cleans Up

A little bit of plywood can go a long way, especially when a rig carrying hundreds of sheets rolls over.

Also just a little wind and it can fly.

Big Rig recovered this rig and got it back on it’s feet and cleaned up the scattered sheets of plywood leaving the field no worse for wear.

High Wind Rig Rollover

Big Rig Towing Wind Blown Roll OverHigh Winds Capsize Big Rig Trailer

There are not very many places on earth where 120 kilometre wind gusts are common. Southern Alberta is one of those places.

When Chinook winds decide to blow the broad side of a big rig is nothing but a big sail and wind related roll overs are a common occurrence.

Big Rig Towing was able to right this rig and get it to repair.
