The D9 Cat is an awesome 23 ft earth-moving bulldozer. Weighing in at anywhere from 8 to 104 tons, this giant can go almost anywhere and move almost anything. However, that kind of weight can also sink pretty fast into mud or soft earth if not kept on the move when trying to plow through it.

It isn’t very often you need help to get this Cat out of the mud, but every now and then even the D9 can get in over its head. Two of our biggest rigs had a hard time getting this Cat unstuck and back to work, but with skill and patience we accomplished the goal.

Peat Moss Roll Over

When this rig full of peat moss went of the highway and rolled there wasn’t much left to save. The peat moss went on to it’s destination but this rig was down and out.

Big Rig Towing did the clean up of the scene and got the wreck to the yard.

Snocoach Repair

There are some big jobs that you wouldn’t think would be a part of your company mandate. But that is the great thing about Big Rig Towing. We have the philosophy that where there’s a will there’s a way.

A Snowcoach is a specialized passenger transport vehicle, designed to operate over snow or ice. These vehicles have multiple sets of very large low pressure tires or snow tracks. These vehicles can seat as many as ten or more passengers and are often used for sightseeing tours or for over-snow transportation like a tour of the Columbia ice fields in Banff National Park.

This Snowcoach was in need of a complete overhaul and Big Rig used their rotator crane to lift the body off the chassis so both could be rebuilt and put back into service.
