In the middle of these two tractor trailers is a Dodge Ram Pick Up truck.
The amazing thing is that there were only minor injuries.
Initially one truck side swiped another causing one to hit a passenger vehicle.
Other traffic stopped to act as traffic control and to advise oncoming drivers of the accident had a vehicle parked some distance from the original scene. A third tractor trailer traveling at a high rate of speed, hit not only the Dodge Ram parked off the side of the road, but the three vehicles in the original accident.

It’s hard to believe that Canada Day is this coming Wednesday July 1, virtually right around the corner!
Since it falls on a Wednesday this year, it means you’ll have to take two days off (Mon & Tues or Thurs & Fri) to make Canada Day a long weekend. But hey, a 5 day weekend sounds pretty good right about now, right?! Especially given the beautiful weather forecast for the week ; )
What are we celebrating anyway?
Canada Day celebrates the birthday of Canada. On July 1, 1867 Canada became a new federation with its own constitution by signing the Constitution Act – formerly known as the British North America Act.
Come out & celebrate Canada’s birthday with thousands of other Calgarians!
There will be free activities for the entire family on Prince’s Island including a First Nations Powwow and a Living Flag activity. And Canada Day wouldn’t be Canada Day in Calgary without music and festivities along the Riverfront. Join the fun at the Festival Market with a fantastic line-up of Canadian Bands on the Riverfront Stage, a Food Truck Roundup, and to wind up the evening, an amazing fireworks display.

It’s truly is amazing that no one was badly injured in this wreck.
This set of super B’s rolled over on highway 797 north of Langdon.
The driver broke his collar bone but the truck ended up with a lot more damage.
So much for a brand new 2016 Kenworth.
The biggest challenge for Big Rig Towing on this rescue was cleaning up the construction garbage.
Positioning a load is critical. Too much weight on one side or the other can have catastrophic consequences.
This truck hauling sand had its hydraulics literally pulled out from under it when the sand shifted causing the dump bed to twist away from the frame and turn the trailer over.
Big Rig Towing made quick work righting and getting the broken pieces back to the shop for repair.
Sometimes you just can’t dig yourself out of a hole.
It’s bad enough that you’re stuck but when you’re stuck in a hole that has a gas line at the bottom of it that can lead to some serious consequences.
This flatbed accidentally backed into a trench that was running gas lines to some new construction.
This is where Big Rig Towing’s extensive training in gas and flammable situations can make the difference between getting a rig out of trouble and back on the road or not.
